Black Democrats will deliver the nomination to Kamala Harris.

Kamala Harris is set to run the table. Senator Booker has a puncher's chance, but the intersectionality of Senator Harris, combining gender and race, puts her over the top. Black democrats are "energized as seldom seen" in Iowa; Georgia's black democrats, still smarting from the loss of gubernatorial candidate Abrams, are going to be voting Harris with both hands; finally, the newly moved up California primary, where Harris has the advantage of being the favorite son, is going to give her an unstoppable lead. California is a money primary: no press-the-flesh bus tour is going to win enough votes to matter. In such a large state the candidates will have to spend many millions of dollars, perhaps tens of millions, on tv and radio ads to compete. This will wash out the field to the survivors of the Iowa/NH/Georgia contests that can still raise $$$. Biden has never made it past New Hampshire, and in spite of his so-called front runner status, there is no reason to believe he goes any further than he ever has before, which is nowhere. Bernie has proven he can "live off the land" but he is not going to close the deal, even if he continues to campaign. With victory for a Female Person of Color in sight, Harris will be feted as the second coming and march to the nomination on a road of bones. Mayor Butt, the white girl senators, and the minor-league governors will be looking for book deals and jockeying for Veep.
