Cop tries to shoot unarmed man. Do you think you should be fired vid inside

An Arkansas police officer has been accused of wrongly pulling his firearm on an unarmed man.

Edrick Truitt told WREQ that the incident occurred early Sunday morning Double Quick store. Truitt said that he was meeting family when another car pulled in front of him

Why didn't he just cooperate in the first place. The officer did nothing wrong. He should have shot him. He showed to much restraint. Next time it might get him killed.

Notice the US Citizen who was wrongfully harassed by the abuser was legally carrying a firearm in his vehicle which was out of reach.

The citizen stated he did not comply with the order to turn off the car because he was smart enough to know the cop would shoot him for 'reaching' to turn the vehicle off.

The article states the firearm was 'out of reach' and was not a threat.

As long as the driver was not a felon then the ar-15 was perfectly legal.

These news articles did not mention he was arrested for having an unlawful firearm, therefore it is safe to assume it was legal

First, you have obviously never been to West Helena Arkansas...I promise you one thing...your dumb ass probably wouln't make it out alive and it has nothing to do with the cops.

Second, we cannot see from Facebook boys little stream what had gone on in that parking lot before his confrontation with the cop...I saw at least 2 other cop cars and other people being restrained. We also don't know the guy in the cars involvement in whatever had gone on. First, op told us he was "unarmed".....clearly that was NOT true!

Give it a rest...either that or go put on a badge and do it better.....

In the middle of a parking lot the cop doesn't know if the guy is a felon or not..you and I do NOT know why the cops were there or if this joker was involved in whatever that was....any cop is going to be cautious and let fellow officers know the guy HAS a gun...HE DID HAVE A GUN!

I admit, My initial thoughts were the cop was being a genuine PRICK and my initial thought was the cop was in serious trouble but 1. knowing West Helena as I do if I were a cop I wouldn't approach any car without my gun drawn (which is why I could never be a cop) and 2. as I said earlier, we don't know what had happened..was it a robbery? shooting? I don't know and neither do you. The cop told the guy to shut his car off and he decided to play "angry black man" as so many do, it was only after this the cop saw the gun...case closed.

Ah..here we go...turns out our little film man was parked at 3:00AM in front of a closed convenience store..when cops pulled up he was trying to leave....yeah, no reason for cops to be suspicious...not in wonderful West Helena.....

Being uncooperative is not illegal and does not justify being executed
