But NASA claims no discovery of carbonates in Gale Crater, Mars (note 2). Why? There are millions of ooids in Gale Crater, Mars (note 3). Each ooid contains many carbonates. NASA claims Curiosity rover's CheMin instrument did not detect carbonates. But the same rover's SAM instrument did detect carbonates in ooids at 3 different places (Rocknest, Gobabeb, Ogunquit) in Gale Crater (note 4). NASA did not publish discovery of carbonates in Gale Crater, Mars. Why?
