If you were in need of more blood due to of a surgical process and you repeatedly had an allergic reaction and began hemorrhaging even though it was the correct blood type, why would a physician tell you from now that in the future whenever you might need a blood transfusion that the blood would have to be washed before any transfusion to prevent allergic reaction.
