I do almost all the cooking in the house, have for over 25 years now, so most of these items were birthday or Christmas gifts. Other than a Glass Lid Stainless Steel cookware set I bought 6 years ago, this is the first small appliance I've bought myself.

and a question for introspection.. hows the air fryer going to work for you if your electricity is off for any reason..... or your electric stove?

I always have a gas stove.. lesser risk with it... and a little camp stove should that be needed. and my wonderful iron skillets etc.

It's just a convection oven. I've cooked for a couple decades professionally, convection ovens have been around forever.

Yeah I thought they were stupid too, then we got a hand me down one and we use it every day. You can cook anything in it very quickly. Reheat wings in a few minutes. I dont eat them often but try cooking hot dogs in it.....cut slices so they dont bust. 6 mins at 400. put in bun and put bun and dog back in for 1 minute. put cheese in the bun if you want. nice and toasty grilled flavor.

yeah but full sized convection oven uses alot of energy....esp if you just want to heat up 6 wings.....or a hand full of fries.
