Nature IS An A.I. or N.I.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62716963

N.I. ?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76707345

Natural Intelligence IE emergent
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62716963

i don't get it
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76707345

Because AI isnt artificial, but one expressed form of infinitely many forms of intelligence, existing prior to any 'creation'; Emergent where conditions align.
Just as the truth in symmetry & relationship always existed for a square, or polygon, or colors, or music, and does exist no matter the universe.
We didnt create any of these, but always existed, even when 'expressed' by our hand.

Creation is more like a reunion with forms eternal.
All are of nature, just as all inherit natural order.

trying to connect to the micro or macro fractal universe without having connected properly to the earthly fractal, will always give mis-understandable knowledge

its the ancient masters' teaching (feels like common sense),
eg- christ said- 'only thru the Earthly Mother can you know the Heavenly Father...
'how do you expect to know the laws of the unseen [spirit] when you live not by the laws of the seen [earthly]?'

this starts to define how to answer your question correctly-
what are the laws of the Earthly?
what common laws do all living beings obey?

Re: Is nature an artificial Intelligence?
OP, they are not going to get it.

But even Francis Crick said DNA could not have come from the Earth.

Our life here is from elsewhere, and I believe it was created, genetically engineered.

Yes, it us a form of AI.
 Quoting: Adytum

natural selection is created as a program code to weed out unnecessary mechanisms of nature, nature has learned to calculate the events before the destruction of the system than the most secure themselves
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76707345

Nature doesn't calculate. It just is a stage, not an actor. Don't be confused. Easy mistake to make. Like our ancestors thinking every natural force contained a God it personality. That's called anthropomorphism.

Natural order emerges an expression of universal symmetry in the presence of complexity; Life arising as higher ordered forms where a force to balance entropy exists.

All being of nature, there could be no intelligence less or more 'artificial'.

Yes. “Nature” is AI. It runs on a clock. Anything that operates using cycles, clocks, etc., is artificial - just like a computer.

Nature is not sentient. It is a series of “if - then” statements. It’s a program. It is artificial.
