The Yellow Vests have split up into two distinct Yellow Vest movements due to political differences.

It was predictable.

I was shocked to see how Macron gathered so many voters in the European elections defeating Sarkozy and Les Républicains" leaving them far behind.

Sadly he still has a lot of supporters.

Marine Le Pen is a different story. She is considered not being legitimate on the French political scene with her National Front party. Hardly any of Le Pen supporters and anti-immigration protesters are among the Yellow Vest protesters. They are remaining a movement of their own not wanting to serve the Yellow Vest agenda.

There are two distinct protests in Paris

One between Denfert Rochereau and Nation >>> against Police violence.

A second protest, between Avenue Foch and the Villiers (17th District) near the Parc MOnceau >>> their theme is "we will not let Democracy down." This is a declared legit protest. The itinerary was changed by the prefecture in agreement with the protesters.

I haven't had time to follow the live streams. I don't know who is showing which groups.

The fact that they have scinded into two distinct yellow vest movements is not a good sign in my opinion.
