I came close to a stroke some years ago.
First symptom-kind of dizzy every once in
a while. I lived with it till someone said
I should have a doctor check my carotid
arteries. I did and he heard a whooshing
noise. A scan indicated 70% blockage on one
side and 50% on the other.
