I've heard of bitter melon before but decided to do a quick search and while there is some proof that it can lower blood sugar, it can also cause you to go hypoglycemic and cause liver damage. Don't use it at all if you are child bearing woman, it can cause bleeding, contractions and abortion...yikes Quoting: Serepta Ann I'm going to test my dad's blood after to see how dramatic it's effect. He's already at a good level, may not need it. grass fed sardines |

They don't draw out the bitterness... they enhance it when it's pickled that way. It's like a condiment so you don't eat big portions of it at a sitting... but put a spoonful next to your rice, or whatever... and blend, dip... as you go... So, good... YUMMY! |

I'll look up some Indian pickling recipes. It occurred to me it would taste best pickled somehow. I've got some soaking in olive juice now. I bet a spicy pickled flavor will be delicious! grass fed sardines |

I just tried the pickled in olive juice slice, it's fucking delicious! I'm using olive juice to eat them from now on. grass fed sardines |

Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living. ~ Life is about choices, you get to make them each and every day of your life. ~ Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.~ Only in America... do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poloi' in Greek meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.~ “When a government is dependent for money upon the bankers, they and not the government leaders control the nation. Traditional, wholesome Chinese food, like what you get in Taiwan is amazing and very healthy for you. Tea, especially from Taiwan, is also one of the healthiest and most delicious things. A friend from Taiwan told me last weekend that once your are older than 40, you should only drink tea and water, not fruit juice or sweets. The Chinese also like sweets quite a bit, a lot of candied fruits and things like hawthorne are very popular there. When you are afraid of losing your life, you have already lost your life. Don't be afraid. |
