This happened several months ago. I'm 60 years old. It was a "medical mistake" that was made during a very minor procedure and the doctor screwed up.

Perhaps the doctor thought he'd fixed the mistake, but something busted lose and I ended up back in an ER where they made a few more mistakes which resulted in my dying from exsanugination (blood loss). I lost "more than 40%" of my blood and my heart stopped.

I was resuscitated after more than 10 minutes with no vital signs. If you'd told me that I was in heaven for several HOURS, I would have believed you. I went to heaven and had a phenomenal experience however...

Heaven sent me back, and when I came back, I was healthier than ever. Several medically documented health problems were gone, to the astonishment of the doctors.

A spiritual being told me that I needed to come back, but didn't offer an explanation as to why. I loved what I saw "over there" and felt the most perfect peace you could ever imagine. I wasn't "nearly dead." I was completely dead, and my heart had stopped for 10+ minutes.

My kids are grown, I'm retired, and I'm not sure why or how I got saved when other people don't.

It's pretty confusing. I'm not sure what it is that I'm supposed to do with the rest of my life.

Transfusion is very very bad and I am telling you I would rather die but death isn't real.

And I do not care what other say for they are fools.

It was the most perfect peace you can imagine times a million. I was unconscious at the moment of my passing but I awakened - with a start - when I died. The first thing I heard myself say was, "My heart has stopped. The medical staff failed to save me."

It was kind of a surprise to hear myself talk because I knew that I had died.

I floated for some time and then was taken into a brilliantly lit white room, and it was in the white room that I was told that I had to go back. I wasn't happy about this. I felt such peace and I never wanted that peace to end.

But I was told that I must return.

My husband killed himself three years ago, and I was really lost. I had been miserable and I was GLAD that this hard life was over. I was told that when I came back, my life would get much better - and it has - but there are still some hard days. More than anything, I'm not sure what I'm doing here.

1) After this, I was hospitalized for several days. In that time, I felt like I was more in that world than this one. I felt spiritual beings swarming me. It was bliss. And peace. More peace. At this point, I didn't know if I was going to survive or not, and I didn't care. It felt like either one was a win.

So - I did not have an ocassion to gaze at the sun.

2) I didn't see the sun so I can't answer this.

EVERY single thing that we really are goes with us, and that means that there really is no death.

Awesome experience. I posted here a few months ago to this. The same thing happened to me recently. It was not 10 minutes. My experience differs a little. But what was crazy about mine was that I remember everything that happened around me as I was dead. And I went from panic to complete peace. Saw no light or anything like that. But had a feeling that there was something much larger out there then life on earth. Even it was just a conscious energy, it was huge enough for me to never question again if something happens to us after death. Even if it was false, it was strong enough to change the way I see death.

You're right. Death is not real. It took some time for that to sink in. While I was floating away from my body, I said OUT LOUD "I'm dying." It was a statement of fact.

And then I said, "Actually, you're not dying. You're dead. Dying is what you did on that gurney."

And that made me laugh out loud - literally. And I HEARD myself laugh. Then I realized, I have no air moving in and out of my lungs, no vocal chords, and yet I hear myself talking? And laughing?

As I floated away, I made a conscious effort to look around at my new environment and I realized, my voice is the same, my intellect is the same and my natural curiousity is the same and I started to wonder, WHAT exactly did I leave behind on that gurney?

Nothing.
