Pooka, I found a couple of links about that light treatment. I used to have a much smaller handheld version, got it at WorldStart online, than the one talked about by PC World - but it burned out after a few years:

Check out that Eight O'Clock site and you'll see they have many varieties on offer; Amazon always has a few of them too. Now, if I had extra to spend, I'd go to Nuts.com (where good deals are found for this kind of exotic thing) and buy Ethiopian Harrar in bulk. You can dial your choice: ground or whole bean:
