I won't be surprised if he shows up dead after Jolie is back in the US.

Because Trump's coup has failed one time after the other and Russia/China's presence there is making it more difficult, his only shot at taking over Venezuela is if Guaido is murdered. In this case the Russians and the Chinese will cut a deal and back off, at least in paper.
