One of the names for Comfrey is "Bone Knit" or "Bone Set".

Yes. A rather older friend of mine, 66, fell off a ladder and broke his hip '9 months to heal' said his Dr...I had him limping along just fine at 3. the dr asked 'how did you do this?' and he said (for the 3rd time) 'You have to ask my witchdoctor Lance'...and the Dr was not interested at all.

I still don' have a kb of merit so can not wrie long missives...butt I have lots more to share...another few more days. And I don' have o peck at my screen...

Broken hip = death to many seniors, and certainly is the end of independence for most. If comfrey will do the job - I should have ordered twenty!

Tell us more about your friend's situation, please, and how you treated him with comfrey. This is information seniors absolutely need!

Hoping your new kbd turns up quickly! I have a new one as of yesterday - a friend recommended a small one he likes, as I have lack of space on my kbd tray - ashtray on one side of it and a thumb-operated mouse on the other side. Love it - just have to learn touch-typing on a new kbd, which doesn't take long. Had to use a wired one after last wireless died and while waiting for this one. Great big thing, always in my way.
