One of the names for Comfrey is "Bone Knit" or "Bone Set".

Broken hip = death to many seniors, and certainly is the end of independence for most. If comfrey will do the job - I should have ordered twenty! Tell us more about your friend's situation, please, and how you treated him with comfrey. This is information seniors absolutely need! Hoping your new kbd turns up quickly! I have a new one as of yesterday - a friend recommended a small one he likes, as I have lack of space on my kbd tray - ashtray on one side of it and a thumb-operated mouse on the other side. Love it - just have to learn touch-typing on a new kbd, which doesn't take long. Had to use a wired one after last wireless died and while waiting for this one. Great big thing, always in my way.
