Horsetails are such a common "weed" here - they grow in the worst places as well as the best. I have them coming up through black plastic and gravel! I've had them in wonderful enriched soil. They just keep coming!!!

Today is the first I have known that they are useful! I've fought them like crazy in the past. A losing battle of course.
