I used to sit and change channels on my neighbor's tv and turn it on and off using a universal remote. Entertainment for hours.

I used to have a remote control that could learn signals. You could aim a garage door opener at it and it would remember the code. Thieves used it. I think I got mine at a garage sale and learned of its nefarious uses later on.

I had a tv at my old residence that would change the channel itself to Nick at night. Also the toaster and shower came on. Doors would lock themselves. Etc Neighbor reported an entity beside his bed one night and my stepdaughter said she saw an entity as well.
A priest who blessed the residence said that the home had many ancient spirits and they would be back.

Our smart tv turned on late at night in the basement. I called the police thinking it might be an intruder and three squad cars came. The police searched everywhere and said many smart tvs turn on for updates or are activated by devices attached to the tv receiving an update. The police said they were bored and happy to come over.

I've heard another horrific tale recounted about living in a mobile home deep in the Ozark Mountains. A back room with a lock on the outside of the door. A huge spider that horrified. Dishes thrown with violent abandon from cupboards. Tremendously loud bangs on the side of the trailer in the middle of the night.
