Irony of the IBWC, 14 of their members worked with our design team to build the gate. They wanted a $300k electronic gate, we told them no. Foreman mike saved all their business cards and will do update tonight on that. Maybe they are upset they didn’t get that fancy gate :)

Access to border monument sometimes denied by private property owners

ABC-7 spoke with one of the company's co-owners, who said he doesn't mind people visiting the monument, but is afraid of possible criminal activity along the border.

"I don't know who's up to no good and who's not, so like I said, I'm gonna put my safety first," said Jeff Allen, one of the property co-owners, "The fewer people we allow down here, which is our right, the safer we are."

Allen said he and his dog, Athena, have been attacked by people on the Mexican side of the border who have thrown rocks at them. He said one person even came to the American side and was chasing Athena and hitting her with a pipe.

Allen said it goes beyond keeping himself physically safe by restricting access. He also hopes not allowing people through will work on the larger scale.

If the monument or marker, whatever it is called, is on Mexican soil, people from the north side of the boundary should not even be allowed to go there.

The gate should be secured at all times.

Are you talking to them about perhaps backing up Mexico in its efforts to stem this migration, given that it’s – and again, coming to my colleague’s question, how much time are you prepared to give this to ensure – to make sure that it’s actually working?

SECRETARY POMPEO: Yeah. So I can’t answer the second question. Some amount of time. This won’t be instantaneous. It won’t happen today, but the work has already begun. So I don’t know. The agreement – we talked about 90 days, but I imagine that we’ll know the effectiveness, the ability of us to work together to deliver this, much more quickly than that. Perhaps a month, perhaps 45 days, we’ll have a good sense of whether we’re able to achieve these outcomes in the way we’re hoping that we can.

Last time I was in Sunland Park there was no water anywhere to be seen. It was a big wide open desert, but evidently the American Dam is needed just in case of flood events as the boundary is very close to Fort Bliss. See page 5 of the USIBWC pdf file

** I worry about it being too late as well. SOOO many thugs are coming in - and still coming - and coming . . . So much diseas, so many benefits-suckers, homeless/broke/want freebies. Something needs to give ASAP or it's going to over for USA. Trump needs to get on the stick and close border and declare martial law in the necessary border counties. Mt Cristo Rey. Look it up in google maps.

To the east of Mt Cristo Rey is where this private section of the border security system has been installed.

From the TOP of Mt Cristo Rey to the dam where the gate is open is about 1 mile.

The private border security system is only 1/2 mile long.

It doesn't even go to the side of Mt Cristo Rey, it only starts up a slope of a hill next to Mt Cristo Rey.

Now, if you look west of Mt Crist Rey on google maps, you can clearly see that there is ANOTHER 1 MILE of border with NO WALL.

If fact, the next section of 21 miles of wall alont the NM border starts in front of a paved road on the mexican side that even has a road view to zoom in on.

But what's even more interesting is that the wall starts right next to a small neighborhood on the mexican side that looks like it has a paved road along a street right next to the open border.

The "We Build the Wall" guys are doing the right thing, but it seems as if they really are doing this as a stunt.

Even if it is a stunt, it sure stinks that a mexican monument is being treated as the reason to open a border fence that at least seals off the border up to where the wall stops.

This "monument" can easily be declasified as a federal monument with a prisdential EO.

If the president gets a petition to declasifiy this "monument" as a federal monument, the wall would be required to be closed when not in use by officials.

After reading your post, I realized I was sitting here with my mouth open. "Jaw-dropping" is not just a phrase, it really happens!

Don't even know what to say - part of me wants to load something long and metal and go guard that gate myself, not letting the interlopers in. Another part of me wants to take hold of the people doing this, and explain things to them in terms they will never forget. What will I really do? Nothing - we have been locked out of doing anything, unless we march on DC in large, large numbers, and say we have had enough. This ends today. Tie them up, carry them to police cars, explain citizen's arrests to whoever doesn't get it, and go back for more. All of us. If that lock is on the wall (pd by we the people) that is on PRIVATE PROPERTY - the property owner has every right to cut that lock.

The militia went down to help the border patrol. They caught over one hundred sneaking through, and held them for the border patrol, whom they notified.

The militia were tossed off the border, one was arrested, and they were given the clear message by our gubmint that their "help" is not needed and to stay away.
