Mt Cristo Rey. Look it up in google maps.

To the east of Mt Cristo Rey is where this private section of the border security system has been installed.

From the TOP of Mt Cristo Rey to the dam where the gate is open is about 1 mile.

The private border security system is only 1/2 mile long.

It doesn't even go to the side of Mt Cristo Rey, it only starts up a slope of a hill next to Mt Cristo Rey.

Now, if you look west of Mt Crist Rey on google maps, you can clearly see that there is ANOTHER 1 MILE of border with NO WALL.

If fact, the next section of 21 miles of wall alont the NM border starts in front of a paved road on the mexican side that even has a road view to zoom in on.

But what's even more interesting is that the wall starts right next to a small neighborhood on the mexican side that looks like it has a paved road along a street right next to the open border.

The "We Build the Wall" guys are doing the right thing, but it seems as if they really are doing this as a stunt.

Even if it is a stunt, it sure stinks that a mexican monument is being treated as the reason to open a border fence that at least seals off the border up to where the wall stops.

This "monument" can easily be declasified as a federal monument with a prisdential EO.

If the president gets a petition to declasifiy this "monument" as a federal monument, the wall would be required to be closed when not in use by officials.
