Are you aware that over 97% of both men and women identify as straight--yet there is no significant advocacy organization speaking up on our behalf? If you attend schools, the amount of LGBT+ related groups and activities would make you think that straight people are in the minority. It's okay to be gay, but it's great to be straight! We mean no harm to the LGBT community, and did not desire for this to become such a sensation prior to so many pride celebrations. In fact, we believe that the LGBT community should add an "S" to the end of the acronym because it's more inclusive that way. Seems reasonable, right? |
