If you have fresh garlic chop it up and let it sit on the tooth.

Ibuprofen for pain.

Gargle with warm salt water to keep the infection away (along with the garlic)

If it's in pain you can get a cream yo out on it. Can't remember the name but it's like oragel. Numbs it a bit if it hurts.

Other than that stick with the garlic and warm salt water until you can get money to get it fixed.

Gargling with oil of oregano will help too.

i read somewhere that if you put an aspirin on the tooth, it will help with the pain, i tried it a couple of times and it worked for me, give it a shot. use chew-able baby aspirin, they at least taste better

last year the whole side of my face was swollen and sealed shut.

i went to the dentist and asked him for anti-biotics. he didn't see anything wrong with my x-ray so he was confused. anti-biotics cleared up my jaw problem

Here's the deal. Your tooth gets infected and it travels to the brain. You will die. Beg, borrow or steal. You have no choice.

clove oil is for pain, you can kill the tooth with it too, further research required,...i swear by vicco vajradanti, available from any indian supermarket, i appreciate your isolation, try and find it online, it'll be under $10, and coconut oil pulling, 20mins a day, it really works, ive had a cracked canine for over a decade that i keep pain free and infection free by pulling oil

Just curious as to why you thought a dentist would help you with no insurance or money? Would a pharmacist? A doctor? Perhaps a mechanic would fix your car for free?

dental extractions with local anesthesia are fairly cheap.

Here in Long Island you can be out the door done for less than $200.

Go get it pulled.
