Jon Stewart chokes up, gives angry speech to Congress re 9/11 First Responders

Jon Stewart's not that bad. He hasn't been out there throwing shade like all the other ass kissing liberal "comedians". He used to actually poke fun at Obama more than most of the others dared to.

And I think he's truly passionate about this cause. He feels these people got a raw deal and is trying to speak up for them. That's politics I can admire compared to many around him in the entertainment industry constantly ranting about Trump is a racist, Russia! etc.

He was actually pretty damn funny sometimes back in the day.
His stuff was in the last funny days of late night TV.

It's all been downhill from there.

Fire fighters and police should stage a nation wide walk out until their demands are met and paid in full.

Christine Todd Whitman went around telling everyone that the air was AOK after 911. What a joke! 8.5 million people will one day be effected in one way or another from the harsh chemicals they were breathing. Not only in lower Manhattan but through out the tri state area. Christine Todd Whitman killed more people the days following 911 than anyone in human history.
A revolution is needed in this country. Not one of words but one of blood.

The House Judiciary Committee today has permanently reauthorized the 911 Victim Compensation Fund. The vote was unanimous.

I guess this Tribesman didn’t get the memo that there were bombs in the WTC, and a suspicious pattern of Tribesman “art students” infiltration in the months leading up to 9/11. I guess he “doesn’t know” about that.

Congress passed a bill years ago and allotted $7.4 billion to last through 2020. But there were so many claims — from 22,000 people who got sick after serving at ground zero — that the money has almost run out and earlier this year payouts started getting slashed in half.

22,000 people are saying they were first responders! They are claiming being sick...having cancer, heart disease, and anxiety and are being compensated with taxpayers' money. Jon Stewart says we should give them more?? WHY?

I know MANY people who have cancer, anxiety, and heart disease, and were no where near New York City, yet Congress approved that billions of taxapyers' money be given to these people just because of 9/11!

Oh...and why did every family of every 9/11 victim receive an average of 1.8 million dollars? 3000 victims and each family received an average of 1.8 million. PLUS their companies paid out insurance money to the families.

Do taxpayers pay for every victim of a fire? of a flood? Do we pay for every illness all first responders all over the country get? Then why only for 9/11?

By the way....if a military member is killed while on duty, his/her family receives $100,000. Each 9/11 family received $1.8 million....approved by Congress.
