from the hobbit movies, here's the rest things i took notice.

The dragon stealing the homeland of the dwarfs and them trying to take it back symbolize the chinese and lunar scum who took over earth long time ago when the moon arrived here and the galactic empire that has placed this planet under quarantine and trying to take it back.

The dragon has multisymbolism. In other times symbolized the very earth we live on and the belly of the beast/bottomless pit in the scene where he was inside a deep well and was consuming anything that was falling there.
Reminded me also the scene from defenders season 1 where the things the lunar scum were mining inside earth were the very remains of an ancient dragon. So the dragon immersed in gold in hobbit movies symbolized also that the very gold was part of him/it was him. Later in the 3rd movie they made it more obvious that the gold the dwarfs were mining was the very dragon itself.

The cave and quarry under the mountain symbolized also earth and they told to our face the two entrances and exits it has.
Main entrance was sealed so no one enters or leaves and second entrance/exit was well hidden.

Hela from thor ragnarok was parading also here as good and in her first appearance was next to a crescent moon and on her last appearance took a demon form.

The short dwarfs symbolize the chinese that pillage, consume, mine like locust everywhere they go but also the galactic empire that tries to reclaim earth/mountain/cave from the dragon.

The dragon symbolized also the moon and when he died they had his face next to the moon to give it away.
His iron impervious skin had a weak spot which was used to be killed later and identical intel we have in gog vol 2 with the alien beast in the beginning who's skin was also impervious minus an old injury it had like the dragon in hobbit.

In the scene where the dragon was within the entrance of a deep well/bottomless pit it symbolized exactly that.

In the 2nd movie when the king returned to his kingdom the dragon/moon burned the whole earth and tried to escape while fully covered in gold/stealing earth's resources symbolism.

In the 3rd hobbit movie at the ending hobbit returning home symbolized also the same thing and he found his whole place robbed/mined/empty which symbolizes how the lunar boss plans to mine earth completely and escape before the owner of earth returns. I have decoded the deadline to mine earth completely and escape is the year 3033 here.
