Same here, but also with video games. Been years since the last time I was heavily into a video game. I would suck if I picked up controller today.

All the movies suck. the music sucks, tv sucks. threw my tv away years ago.

Maybe some games with story modes, I prefer raw pvp which is just battling other players, no stories or programming there, just fun.

I mostly ignore the story aspects for the mechanical aspects of a game, so if there's some programming in there it's passed by.

But for shows and movies, you aren't doing anything else but being fed programming for the entire time. You can't exactly ignore the plot and story in a movie....

Wrong I like to get out and do a lot of shit, it's just movies and shows have become brainwashing and programming and nothing more, not even entertaining.

I'll put it this way i'd rather be hiking up the side of a mountain than watching anything on TV or in the theater these days.

Movies and TV have all been shit for the last 20 years.

I like collecting comics as an alternative to hollywood programming but even those are filled with agenda. Marvel is cucked.

I like Sonic comics by IDW and Invader ZIM comics by Oni Press. (I buy from sellers on ebay so I dont fund those SJW companies directly)

I also like collecting toys like Amiibo and Totaku.

Also collecting retro games like stuff for Genesis & Dreamcast is fun.

Ditch cable and get an antenna. There's a network called Antenna TV which shows retro programming like Coach, Becker, Welcome Back Kotter and Father Knows Best.

Don't see movies in the theater. Don't fund Hollyweird. Try DVDs of old movies and tv shows.

I have lost interest in all that too. they don't seem to want to make content for people like me. I really hate all the actors too. where are the badasses like they had in the 70s? booze swilling, pill popping, motorbike riding, hell raising men? the upper class British luvvies are the worst. I can not give them money.

The last movie I went to see at the cinema was mission impossible 6 as a favour for a freind who needed some escapism from his situation. I felt so dumb sitting there watching tiny Tom punch a henchman in the ribs with the over the top thudding sound fx. given all the possible human choices and experiences i felt like an amoeba sitting there watching that shitshow. also the cinema wasnt even dark becasue of stupid fat ppl who will trip on tgheir way to the snack bar.

before that the last film i saw was Spectre. boring. boring. boring. they ruined Bond. no elan, no humopur, no style no good music, androgynous, militant feminist women. YUCK!!!

I cant watch tv becasue of all the mixed race, queers, noserings, tats, beverly hills wannabes and low class types.

Not owned a tv or watched it for ten years. I recently seen Netflix however but get disillusioned by it. However there's some good. Surprisingly how much new age or occult in everything.

I don't know what your religious affiliation is, but I would avoid Netflix personally. Don't want to come across as a dick or anything, but their politics are extremely left leaning. Lots of degeneracy and orange man bad content on that platform, plus a lot of blasphemous stuff that offends me as a Catholic. Lots of occult programming.

Try watching foreign-made, non-English-language movies and series, with subtitles.

There's lots of stuff out there which is totally "fresh" because they see the world completely differently from us, and just observing the cultural differences is addictive.

For example, try any Scandinavian, Ukranian, Russian thriller, or police procedural series, and you'll get hooked by just how differently they think

Just commit to watching stuff which isn't in English - which includes the amazing stuff coming out of Australia and New Zealand! ;) ;)
