Re: The puzzling properties and the mistery around the Meteorite found in a former Jesuit Convent in Chile, the rock dubbed Veas-01
The more I read about this meteorite and its properties, the more interesting and puzzling it becomes.

The impossibility of melting it at iron melting point and the need to reschedule over a 1000 degrees Celsius to just soften it makes me think of a possibility that arises from the most current advances in the understanding of what drives LENR (Low Energy Nuclear Reactions, which is the current name of the field of research once mistakingly called cold fusion).

There is a nagging realization in the LENR field that for obtaining good results it’s required to create an environment rich in electromagnetically created, self sustaining and self organizing electronic clusters called “EVOs” (Exotic vacuum objects) which exhibit the capability of remaining stable or “metallic” at thousands of degrees and also can alter many metals on contact.

I have the idea that this big chunk of Iron was submitted to a process that transformed it into a big crystal of EVO material and thus even if it’s still iron from the chemical point of view, it’s in an hypermetalic state meaning it behaves as one single crystal and all of its electrons are interlinked, so it requires much more energy to even soften it, and also it can maintain and even gain magnetism above iron’s Curie point.

I have yet to discuss this idea with people that knows much more about EVOs than I can grasp, but I think this object represents a far more technological complex capability than what it might ever be suspected by its analysis if you don’t know and understand the implications of the existence and properties of EVOs.

Bumping for a start of a new week.

The Veas-01 iron rock could also be a chunk of the material mentioned in an old contact with ET book from the 1960’s “UFO contact from planet Iarga” as described in the book:

“We wish to give you something as a token of our thanks. If we give you an object with which you can prove our existence, it will surely also be worth a great deal of money. We hope that you will accept it. It is sterilized."

"What is it?"

"It is a block of inert metal that is many times stronger than your best steel and only half as heavy. It has a superconductive structure that is so straight that current can only flow through it when a positive pole is placed directly opposite a negative pole, in line with the structure of the metal. If one of the electrodes is moved only one-thousandth of an inch, the current ceases to flow. With this structure it is possible, with correctly placed electrodes, to form a spiral current pattern, the result being that when a direct current is connected to two feed wires, a supermagnet is created with a negligible current consumption. Also, the metal has a melting point much higher? than anything known on Earth. We use this metal for the outer skin of our spacecraft. That is the gift. We hope you will accept it."

The historical rumor is that the stolen Iron chalice of a nearby church was made of this metal and took the Jesuit metalworks 8 years to forge it, so it’s a hard metal to work, a sword made of it would be awesome.

I'd be less amazed if this was just one of a bunch of rocks with the strange properties. But this is the only one.

Strange indeed.

I will guess it is the remains of a meteorite but that does not explain the square holes. Doesn't sound like it is a useful shape either.
 Quoting: Uncle B. Truth 77675052

Well, this meteorite has been determined by geological means as having fallen around the same time that the ones found in the Chaco basin between Argentina and Paraguay. But those are known to be typical iron nickel meteorites. That’s where the hypothesis of man made modifications arise, from the fact that it was found and remained historically in what was a Jesuit state, in a part that was known to have been a metalworks operation. The rectangular holes are highly likely to be performed by the Jesuit smiths. How is the big problem, as the meteorite has clear signals of being a meteorite, but also has signs that only appear on artificially produced materials, and is unusual in almost every single aspect respect to what is known of natural and man made iron objects. The bottom line idea is that whatever the origin of the metal, it was worked upon with technologies known to the jesuits but completely ignored by current mainstream science and metallurgy.

It is thinly veiled suggested by Rodolfo Novakovic in a series of sci fi short tales he wrote, that the Jesuits might have been guardians and descendants of a human looking extraterrestrial race that fled to Earth after being almost decimated by their enemies, and that they have blended here and become powerful but in the shadows as a parallel human society of high tech since the XIII century.

Did they have acid? Acid can make holes in iron.

Agreed, but creating two very regular rectangular shaped cavities just for the sake of it with acid would have been a tedious work if done on purpose for creating that shape alone.

Lye is known since ancient times but to make it react with metallic iron needs to be heated over 500 degrees Celsius and releases hydrogen so it’s a very dangerous of explosion reaction.

Well, this iron is very resistant to melt. It does not even soften at the normal Iron melting point and it requires even more temperature to begin softening. This, along with the not loosing but strenghtening of its magnetism above the curie point, is weird beyond belief. But has been measured to a certainty in this case.
