'They' worship a philosophy that believes you must earn power and a place at the seat to understand the divine knowledge. They don't believe everyone should know and understand this wisdom.
'They' believe the individual person must pass through these barriers to reach the Divine. They keep creating more and more barriers to this knowledge so they can keep it themselves, which is why things keep getting more f***** up.
