His family was receiving credible death threats. That was the stated reason anyway. If you do not believe him then it could be any one of several conspiracies. I'm inclined to believe Perot. He had a long history of being "patriotic". He spoke the clear truth about where the nation was heading and the treason against America--a cardinal sin in real politics.
