Hey they saved me a bundle, it's lower than any time in my life! Funny part is, they telemarketed me, damn lucky I answered that one time. I pay less for the house and cars, than I used to pay for one car.

Everybody else was robbing me!

They run the ads because as a regulated business they can assign it as a cost and make a multiplier to add to profit. Buffet figured this out. It's an arms race where they all win and the consumer loses.

A lot of advertising from businesses is really a form of a gift from the advertiser to the platform that hosts the advertisement. Whether that platform is a TV show, social media site, newspaper, magazine, radio show.

A lot of advertisers need the reader or viewer a lot more than the reader or viewer needs the advertiser. Although sponsors do pick up part of the customer's tab for things like cable subscriptions, it's mainly one business (such as NBC or ESPN) digging into the pockets of another business (such as Geico).

you probably dont get that historically all big insurance companies are banks. They got from governments to impose their products on everyone but having a billiin excuse to not fulfill the contract and also are the only field who do not open to competition, like in europe every business must compete with other European ones while insurances must be only sold by companies of the country the vehicle is registered in.


Also it doesn't matter the economy or pricing...insurances ARE THE ONLY BUSINESS THAT GROWS 10% EACH YEAR NO MATTER WHAT.

Intro rates. State Farm is famous for sudden, unannounced, massive increases. They hope you wont notice or wont shop around.

I called Geico after they continue to raise my rates for absolutely no reason and I told him it's true I can lower my cost in just 15 minutes that's why I went with Progressive. They asked me why I was leaving and I told them because your commercials are lies. I'm saving $82 a month by leaving Geico ,thanks Geico .

Only if the vehicle is under a loan, some States it is not required.

Oh and I'm getting better coverage and towing/ emergency for )82 less a month, Geico sucks.

Geico representative tried to tell me the reason my insurance kept going up is the cost of paying for these new cars and their front end technology. And I said I don't have one of those new cars , make them pay for it...

Progressive has always been cheapest for me. Geico is a rip off. I had to get an sr22 for a two. Progressive was less than $80 a month for it. Even cheaper if I paid 6 months at once. I kept the sr22 for almost a year AFTER I was required to becuase it was cheaper than insurance thru any other company. Call progressive and see what they will charge you.

Ask them how much money they spend on TV commercials. Ask them what TV commercials have to do with insuring cars.

I had geico for years and did a price check and State Farm was $200 cheaper a year. And fuck liberty, when I’ve been job hunting those scum would call me after they got my number off monster and career builder and kept calling me wanting to set me up as an insurance agent. I finally told them that if they didn’t stop calling me I would report them to the phone company for harassment, I will never have insurance through them!!

Aspen insurance is MAFIA insurance and they will send the boys in if you take them to court over compensation.

Price insurance from companies that you do not see every 15 minutes on TV and their rates will be lower. And they will be just as highly rated. They are in the business of insurance and not marketing.
