Lived near UNH in Southern NH for quite a while. The only rioting issues we had were at the college. Bunch of drunk punks fighting and vandalizing stuff. On a separate but related note, is there any surprise these games go to the max of 7 events? At $500-2000 per seat, plus the concessions, hotels, pahhking, bars, etc. the revenue is hard to turn down. Used to take customers to B's games and the costs were absolutely obscene. No way a family can afford to go regularly to ANY sporting events in Bahstan. ^this I've lived in New England for awhile now and NE fans are pretty tame when it comes to winning/losing games. I'm not into any sports and could care less. I'm just glad I live in an area that doesn't riot over stupid sports. A few years back, in Keene, a bunch of asshole college students rioted and ruined a Pumpkin Festival for everyone. The Pumpkin Festival was a family favorite for years but because of stupid, drunk college students destroying everything, Keene cancelled it. They moved it to Laconia. |
