I love trees and don't want to see rain forrest cut down, but, it's not my country, not my problem. I live in 90+ degree weather for 5 months of the year. I love it. The best way to deal with the heat is to get wet (sprinkler) and go sit in the shade.

Is cutting down the rain forrest worse than chopping down all the trees and paving a road or a parking lot? Co2 emmissions are bad. Not because it causes a "runaway" green house effect, but because it increases the acidity of the oceans. It may reach a point where shellfish can't survive, and that's a huge portion of the food chain.
