OWEGO, N.Y. - The winner of the 2020 Presidential Election will be lifting off in helicopters partially made in Owego.

Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, under a contract from the U-S Navy, will build 6 VH-92A Presidential Helicopters as part of a 23 aircraft program.

The VH-92A will be integrated with communication systems to help provide safe and reliable transportation for the president, vice president and foreign heads of state.

The helicopters will be manufactured in Connecticut with installation of systems integration, mission equipment
