Quoting: Gepetto of the Ghetto “We’re not going to tolerate people who try to divide the community in a way like this,” Gilbert Gallegos, Albuquerque Police Department spokesman, said. Video captured last week showed a couple of bikers taking turns burning rubber over the new crosswalk near Central and Morningside. Police say they received tips saying 31-year-old Anthony Morgan was one of the men seen in the video. “A lot of times in property crimes we don’t have the great cellphone video or witnesses who are able to tell us who did it. In this case, I think because it was a high profile incident, we did have that help from the public,” Gallegos said. The crosswalk, which represents inclusiveness for the city’s LGBT community, cost the city $30,000 to install. It will take about $1,700 to fix. In our contracting business if the city or state comes a calling for a quote it’s industry standard to inflate the regular amount by 200-800%. And then for numerous cities around here it’s industry standard to inflate your quote and have a middle person meet and go over the details where they will select your bid if you tax such and such amount and purchase fake service from some company they own. People like to think third world countries are corrupt, America is EXTREMELY corrupt, they just hide it better and don’t keep it glaringly in the open |

I was always told when I was young it was a reminder from God that he loves us. That crosswalk looks really cool. Too it's stupid that it was done in the name of homosexuals. I can see the pull to do the burn out on it lol. Heterosexuals sidewalks cost 600 bucks and are white or yellow. This was 30,000 bucks woowee. Talk about special treatment. I have friends that are gay, they don't push it onto others. I don't understand all this pressure to force it into every nook and cranny of our loves when it's only around 3% of the population. |
