Texas brown Tarantulas, you like spiders ?

I lived there and never saw one.

Great critters, had one as a pet. Fed it crickets and just let it roam around the house, didn't get along with the cat though or vice versa really.

i did see one in the stairwell of my apartment building there back during the Vietnam war... I killed it and I should not have.

I like many common spiders.. particularly the little black hunt spiders...

I have not got brave enough to let one crawl on my arm yet.

I used to work in a mine and the tarantulas would migrate through the quarry twice a year. It was pretty awesome, and they are nice and gentle if left alone.

I wonder if they realize we are made from spider and snake DNA? Maybe they wouldn't feel the same?

I used to sleep with an actual alligator, not by choice, but we never had an incident.

Tarantula never caused me or the cat any grief, the cat was just irrationally fearful of it- kind of like you.

I really like tarantulas. Have had 2 as pets. Feeding them was like watching Animal Planet.
When I’d hold them they would move slowly up my arm then go really fast . Recently released so they’re wandering around somewhere in my house.

I grew up middle school age around the area where you are and my stepbrother and I caught 30 of them in a box. We took it inside and showed my stepmother, who wasn't very pleased. I heard that the fire ants decimated their population, along with horned toads.

The one in the video seems kinda small, these are everywhere.

Actually I did once at a sort of petting zoo for butterflies and other insects.

I hate spiders only if they're in my house. I always find them running around on the walls late at night.

I bought my brother-in-law one many years ago, kind of as prank on him.
My nephews wanted it, not him.
It froze to death during a power outage.

They kept it and kids liked it, I gave to him as prank while, I bought it for the kids really.
The spider would separate is rocks by colors, it was cool to watch it decorate according to its preferences.
