It is rare. But has any of you guys had your temporal mandilar joint replaced?

It used to be a general prosthetic. New advances and 3d printing and other things have made the experience more custom but also more expensive. My sister is facing this. She is in a little bit of disassociation about it, which i cant blame her. I am not, so it is really scary. Just trying to find some strength or positive ways to think about it.
