The truth is that the Bible does not have much to say about the end of the world;
our focus is, and should be, on improving the here and now.

Moreover, some Christians can go over the top in their support of Israel,
ignoring Jewish voices and critical nuance in the process.
A recent poll [link to www.haaretz.com (secure)] found that
42% of American Jevvs believe that President Trump is favoring Israel too much,
while only 26% of American Christians share that belief.
In other words, more Jevvs than Christians believe that the
current administration is too pro-Israel.

The full poll, which was published two weeks ago, focused
on measuring public views among Americans of the Israeli
and Palestinian governments, and the Israeli and
Palestinian people. It showed that while most Americans
have a favorable view of the Israeli people, almost half
have a negative view of the Israeli government - including
a majority of Democrats.
