"No one can earn it through works" is the
exact opposite of Christ's message.
Quoting: hillbilly You don't understand. Of course Christ wants us to do good to others. Of course. But we are all sinners. We are all guilty. We all have done and will do plenty wrong. We can and should be better, but we have done bad. The Law proves we are Guilty. God is Holy. We can't make ourselves Holy before Holy God. Understand?
