Anonymous Coward User ID: 77735172 United States 06/16/2019 01:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My house has been on the market in upper Westchester county NY, for the past 70 days, and no offers. I just lowered the price to $30,000 less than I paid for the house SEVENTEEN years ago---- and still no offers. Its in a fabulous school district and is freshly painted with floors newly refinished, sunny southern exposure all day, and close to the train to NYC. (1 hr 5 min commute) Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77441785 The market stinks as far as I'm concerned. Your location is too suburban. The hot areas are innercity, rich whites are displacing the brownies to the suburbs. The house im in was 20k in 2011. The houses one either side just sold for 200k and 300k to some suckers. Innercity rustbelt here. |

Trump won't address housing crisis. 5 extra bucks a week in tax cuts is not offsetting a planned implosion. You can't live and work 40hrs a week. Trump has addressed NOTHING Trump needs to build you a house? pay your rent? Give you some more block cheese? The last time politicians got involved helping useless fucks like you get a mortgage, Glass-Steagall was repealed, and useless fucks like you were raped financially. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 63899858 United States 06/16/2019 02:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Still laughing at that one. The United States of America is in rapid economic decline due in no small part to empire building. Most urban areas of the USA are turning into the Third World. Rural America is dying. And every year the Middle Class fall further down the economic rung. Immigration, in spite of its hot topic status, is really a non-sequitur because looking at the current numbers, we're not going to have ninety percent of the population we have now by 2050. In other words, we'll be somewhere around 275M people because the Boomers will all be dead by that time, the GenX are experiencing serious declining health due to being overworked, and the Millennial are porcine slobs who eat soy and get no exercise. I am 46 and I will state frankly, I won't likely see 2050. And if I do, I likely be living in a radically different place after the wars between India and Pakistan, China and the USA and Russia, and the rampant diseases of sub-Saharan Africa destroy a large segment of the world's population. Reality check, it's happened before, it will happen again. Real Estate pimping won't even be a profession by 2030. It's dying faster than boot-blacking. Nice rip right there buddy. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31491616 The Amazon and remote work effect may help. People save money on transportation and goods, dump it into rent or mortgage. I think the remote workers will boost rural and suburban more since people don't need to live near population centers. |

Right now, it's the late comers gambling, and the big boys dumping... a greater fool.. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77735611 I’ll get tards to rent it. I already have 3 others. The tards are paying in rent then I do in mortgage payments. ..and then saturation takes place, and the one guy who drops his rates significantly fucking over everyone, forcing drops across the board. Yet you cant due to the high purchase price. You offset it by eating the difference thinking it's a fluke, but it gets worse as time marches forward. Then you realize new banking laws do not exonerate you from liability even in bk, and you are fucked beyond fucked... lol, enjoy it while it lasts... |

They are planning on bail ins for cash, investments, including 401ks as it pertains to accounts within financial institutes, funds, etc. With big boy ties. So a fund that has even indirect ties to wells or the morgans, bofa, for example will be on the hook. |
