BEWARE!!!! Aspartame re-branding

It's killing my sister. She is in such bad shape, yet she CAN'T stop drinking Diet Pepsi from morning til night. She is literally addicted to it!

Thanks for the info. I'll let people around me know. I don't drink diet soda myself. I've just recently cut out soda altogether.

I found a nice cold glass of water with lemon juice and chopped up strawberries is a good replacement 😁

All humans are the same in that we can't synthesize vitamin C internally. It has to come from the diet or vitamin supplement.

Cats, dogs and other carnivores can live on just meat because they produce vitamin C in their livers.

It's theorized that humans once had that ability but lost it due to a genetic mutation.

There are always exceptions to every rule, like the pack-a-day smokers who live to 100. Best to listen to your body. If aspartame gives you chronic headaches or unexplained seizures, stop taking it.

NutraSweet and sucralose are radically different chemically. NutraSweet/Aspartame is a combination of phenylalanine and other crap. Sucralose is modified sugar(sucrose). While sucralose has it's side effect, it's doesn't have the serious one's Aspartame does.

If you're a diabetic and have to use artificial sweetener, sucralose is the best of the bunch.

I normally use organic stevia, and occasionally a little pure honey or maple syrup.

However, if none of those are available, I'd go with xylitol or erythritol before Sucralose.

That's an erroneous list. For one thing, sucralose is not Aspartame. Second, it missed off another rebranding of Aspartame called Neotame, and maybe others. It's hard to keep up with this shit.

For ex. Raw Stevia brand, lots of diabetics use it. It contains large quantities of Dextrose as the filler, something that spikes insulin higher than sugar does. Corn product, probably gmo!

Alot of health food products are not good either, they're just raking in the cash and laughing.

The 3 worst ingredients often in so called health foods are:

Maltodextrin GMO, glycemic index 110, Dextrose and Maltitol.

Colon cancer in most people and prostate cancer in men.

The truth is if you drink diet soda occasionally its ok, if you do like most do and drink it in place of water or any other drink it's bad for you

I've drinked it off and on for 25 years never had any I'll side affects, healthy as ever

Like anything if you over consume it then it can be bad for you

Simple as that

Yep. There are alternatives to diet coke like Zevia (stevia-sweetened) which also has caffeine. But people don't get addicted to that. It's the aspartame they keep going back to.

A lot of the addicts think it's the caffeine, but wonder why they have to keep popping Advil for the chronic headaches, when caffeine actually prevents headaches.
