You have to watch little kids like a hawk. They don't understand theft nor do they have any sense of danger and will toddle out into on coming traffic if you are not vigilant.

I doubt very much that cops would come in all aggressive like that with guns drawn, shouting at a person "get your hands up" if their toddler only stole from the store.

It could also be that the person they were trying to get to has a criminal record or a charge for dangerous weapons or anything like that.

It wasn't just a woman and child, but there was a man with them. He obviously didn't get out of the car right away. This could be a bad area, and the cops were right to be aggressive especially in a day and age where people blatantly disrespect the police. Combine that with safety...they are just doing their jobs.

Also, the woman said that her child couldn't walk so she couldn't put her down. So she allowed that baby to steal that doll.

I guess starting them stealing before they can even walk is alright by some.
