Could be. I have a bad feeling.

Usually after Japan shaking, it’s California next.

6.8 pt. on the CURRENT SCALE is actually a 7.8 PT. (almost
an 8 point quake, then....wow.) by the originally designed
Richter Scale that was used from the 40's through the mid
80's.

Because the "trend" was larger and larger quakes--which
they determined the public would feel "uneasy" about...
the decision was made by Dr. Richter's assistant to totally
"REVAMP THE QUAKE SCALE" (AFTER Richter's death) TO
LOWER THE SCALES BY A FACTOR OF 1,000...THAT IS ONE FULL
POINT.

The original Richter Scale was patterned after the
original 1900's Great San Francisco Quake at the turn
of the century as ...."A STANDARD EXAMPLE OF A 9.0 PT. QUAKE. Using a REAL quake as the model, people had an
immediate idea of how severe the quake was and whether
they should feel "concern."

By downgrading ALL QUAKES after the 80's by a full point,
what you are actually seeing in any of the current reports
is off by 1,000 times (because the scale is "exponential.")
A 6.8 pt. quake is 100 times more powerful than a 6.7 pt.
quake...but a 7.8 pt. quake is 1,000 times more powerful
than a 6.8 pt. quake--and is almost "GREAT QUAKE MATERIAL."

Good luck finding much on this "down-grade" on google.
It has been erased from our history so nobody has a
source to show.

There are four conditions necessary for an earthquake to cause a tsunami:
(1) The earthquake must occur beneath the ocean or cause material to slide in the ocean.
(2) The earthquake must be strong, at least magnitude 6.5.
(3) The earthquake must rupture the Earth’s surface and it must occur at shallow depth – less than 70km below the surface of the Earth.
(4) The earthquake must cause vertical movement of the sea floor (up to several metres).

Downgraded to 6.4. Still Not often we see one on the Sea of Japan, Yamamoto Basin side.

Thread: Second time ever. Not good omen.

I have bad feelings about this guys. More especially on the opposite side of Japan in the Nankai trough.

There was a 7.8 there in 1983, in the same vicinity. a 14 meter high tsunami resulted.
I know, because I was living south of there at the time, albiet it in the Kansai area.

I have a feeling this is the start of it. Just perfect timing of all things. Could be tonight while we sleep. But I have "vision" of big disaster then bombs.
