If the money keeps flowing at low interest the economy keeps moving. Trump should force negative interest on them and make them pay the national debt. The price to pay to exist in the USA.

Cheap money isn't a good thing for the economy, it's a good thing for stocks. It allows corporations to borrow cheap and buy back their stocks to boost the price.

But sucking capital out from the real economy into the casino on wall street isn't good for mainstreet. It's funny how this used to be a conspiracy website and people understood the lies spread by wall street, lies that said they were the creator of prosperity.

The capital markets were never ever the creator or driver of an economy, they are supposed to act as a means of capital formation and price discovery. They are neither now, they are rigged up distorted, bloated obese abominations of all that is evil about this system of crony capitalism we mistakenly identify as 'free markets'. None of this is free you're all paying with your very lives.

They did this because large companies have been doing huge buy backs for years, boosting stock prices, while enjoying ultra cheap interest rates. Party is coming to an end...

I think that the key word is INFLATION. lots and lots of

The "Fed" maintained the lowest rates ever during the Obama administration to prop up the economy, and artificially inflate the numbers.

As soon as Trump was elected, they raised the rates to try to trash the market/economy and blame Trump, but that has failed.

Keeping the rates artificially low, however, is not a good thing.

What should happen is that the Federal Reserve should be dissolved, and the responsibility put back in the hands of Congress, where it **LEGALLY** belongs.

People will spend that money in other areas that put money directly back into OUR economy like home remodeling or domestic travel.
