I totally get off on the idea of my Australian internet gf complaining at me :3 Because I wanna be there for her. And I love being with her. That's just how it is. I think what makes women beautiful to men is that they need us to be responsible for them. Right now she isn't talking to me..... but strangely..... I still get off lol :3 :33 She's acting like a total baby And I totally get off on it Annnndddd...you've completely avoided responding to what I said. If you love someone you'll baby them.... <3 That's what I was trying to say... <3 I would NEVER tell someone you I care deeply about to "deal with it" <3 And yeah, even men too. <3 You're entitled to your view of the world, as am I. Having raised two very successful kids, kids who learned that ultimately they have control over themselves, the types of situations and relationships they put themselves into, how they take advantage of opportunities to learn, and how they react to people, things, events, I'm content that my approach to helping them develop thinking and problem solving skills works. An additional thought. You realize what 'happy' feels like because you've experienced sadness. You learn that winning feels good because you've experienced losing, didn't like it, and worked to get better at whatever it was so next time you'd do better. You experience true satisfaction by working hard to achieve something and then accomplishing it. If you only ever felt happy? Happy wouldn't feel as good. If you excelled and succeeded at every single thing you tried? A sense of satisfaction and accomplishment would avoid you. To "baby" someone means, in general terms, to keep them at an infantile state of existent. Meaning they lack skills, they lack a repertoire of useful behaviors, they lack experience, and are always in need of care; they cannot succeed or live well on their own. The last thing I'd ever try to do for someone I truly loved would be to "baby" them; it's a cruel, control driven mindset in my view. Last Edited by Larry D. Uhhh So babying someone is cruel???????????????????????? :P I think the reason why people hurt others is SIMPLY because they were hurt themselves.... It's not because there is some benefit to it...... or something........... They just know no other way to handle things. If they were only babied their entire lives..... they'd baby other people. If they want something, they'll go after it. Question: Would you rather live in a world in which people babied you? ... or a world in which people treated you like shit? (pls pardon my frecnh <3) |

(pls pardon my frecnh <3) You and I live in different worlds, which is probably a source of happiness for both of us. Put "babied" on one end of the scale and "treated like shit" on the other. Your question is, in essence, "which extreme suits you?" I guess that suggests that life and relationships are "all or nothing". I don't see it that way; there's plenty of middle ground if you look for it. I can't answer your question for one simple reason; it's not a reasonable question and is akin to me asking you "have you stopped abusing your girlfriend yet???" If you say yes I say you ADMIT to doing it and you "lose". If you say no I say you ADMIT to being an ongoing abuser and you "lose". No matter how you answer you come out on the short end. I don't answer questions like that... "Socialism only works in two places: Heaven where they don't need it and hell, where they already have it." Ultimately? People make themselves happy, not us. Can we treat others with love, respect, offer them understanding and support? Yup. Is that a guarantee that "we make them happy"? Not by a long shot, you cannot control how others react. "Socialism only works in two places: Heaven where they don't need it and hell, where they already have it." I don't want to treat people badly. Again... Life is about being for others. It's not about your self.
