Homeless is a death sentence. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75881535 The only homeless people I know who didn't die within a few years all owned a bike, motorcycle, car truck, van, etc. Including myself. you guys are soft...i did it for a decade, Obama Era, and I had women and children with me the whole time. We walked just about everywhere. ...or is it because you're NOT American? I meant to add...I'm an American and can never be homeless in this land. maybe when you immigrate in your next lives you'll refrain from insulting your host. Yes, the difference is coping skills. In the past homeless people would try. Now, people are giving up. Because of the degree of lack of resources. |

I think what OP says is the actual objective. This is a sweep em out and hopefully they’ll kill themselves off operation. I am voting for the guy who wants to give everybody a $1,000 a month check. Because it makes me angry that we really do have the resources to help everyone out of poverty but look what’s happening instead. Yesterday the NYT had a big article about land consolidation — similar phenomenon. All the land is being bought up by billionnaires. But why should they be allowed to “own” it? There is plenty of open land for people to homestead on. But they get crowded into cities and then cant find affordable housing. IDIOCRACY. |

There is plenty of open land for people to homestead on. But they get crowded into cities and then cant find affordable housing. IDIOCRACY. Some redneck family in Idaho that got rich fracking bought up a lot of land there that was used by large numbers of people for both recreation and economic pursuits like logging and ranching, then closed off all access. Several years later they were forced to open up some of it again due to the rancor their policies of “saving the land” caused. Why does a redneck family think their shithead, selfish plan is From God? I would think God would approve of group, cooperative, positive land use? Their plan to me looks like it was done to spite people. I was glad to read they had been forced to make changes back to sharing. What in the FUCK could one family DO with all that empty, unproductive land anyway? That’s the point. Nothing was being done with it, and the pressure that built up from people who needed it for jobs, camping, homes, etc was unbelieveable. It was like a social explosion. This is why we had representative government arise, as an outlet for that kind of pressure, that the foolish, selfish, misguided decisions of oligarchies cause. Maybe the execution of “democracy” has become corrupt now. But the underlying concept should not be thrown out! It is still VERY powerful. |

Your incorrect logic would also say people are mentally ill or drug addicts by choice Many homeless who are live on street long term are ptsd veterans, mentally ill, and abuse substances. Many times it is all three of these things. What society needs is people who care and funding for long term care |

The homeless used to have homes. They were called "mental institutions". The libtards closed them all down back in the 80's as a means of integrating all of these great, forgotten people back into society. |

There are many many things far worse than death. Homeless people make them money and they don't want to shut off the cash cow. “If you'll let me tell you what I imagine about myself, you'll find it a lot more interesting” –Anne Shirley "Seemingly your father nor mother taught you that as a man, it's your job to protect and provide for women and lead strong families. As men, had you done your job, you wouldn't be living in a matriarchal society." - Janedoenut, 2018 |

Every homeless person I've ever known was homeless due to poor decisions in their lives. The problem was/is...even while homeless, they continue to make those same poor decisions! You can't live somebody elses life for them...you can't pay attention is school for them, you can't show up for work on time for them...THEY HAVE TO DO IT THEMSELVES! And if they wont...there are consequences! Ben Franklin said: The best way to cure poverty is to make the poor as UNCOMFORTABLE in their poverty as possible. I have alot of sympathy for homeless people...I am willing to give them a hand up...NOT a hand out! If I am going to be damned...I am going to be damned for who I really am! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75881535 The only homeless people I know who didn't die within a few years all owned a bike, motorcycle, car truck, van, etc. Including myself. i'm surprised anyone would survive months homeless. or weeks. if it as cold, it gets below 50 degrees at night, you're dead. that's a fact. below 50 degrees without a sleeping bag, that's hypothermia. i'm pretty sure they watch them on hidden thermal cams everywhere for when their body heat disappears and they know they're dead. that's why you never see dead homeless people, they just disappear. they got some system to snatch them up soon as they go dead. Maybe they're being parted out? The homeless community is a large salvage yard? well the bible says, whoever did not possess the mark of the beast could not buy or sell. it says one day those who used satan's money to exploit others will be tormented by demons forever. not that I believe that, but that is what the bible says. Personally i believe in common sense, money is a useful measure and store of value, and people negotiate for it, it solves the problem of clubbing eachother over the head one trillion times a day. but just sayin, what the bible says. of course we know the bible is just sayin that because they want your money The notes/bills themselves are full of masonic symbolism outright & hidden. The higher degrees of Free Masonry are veiled satanism, I'm convinced. They denounce god when they take the pledge to be accepted. The "Great Architect of the universe" is the devil & we've all been deceived... |

Homelessness is generally temporary. Quoting: TlvmmCpoft Death is not. Do you want someone to shoot you in the head every time you stub your toe? Besides, being outside for long enough makes you genuinely appreciate things like central air and satellite TV. Ahhhh, bliss. you just have this romantacized view of homelessness that you see on TV, that is very carefully crafted so you do not have sympathy for homeless. same way they portray their victims overseas, very carefully so you do not sympathize. it's so premeditated and evil , such consciously thought out evil, people in prison commit acts of passion, or out of impulse, but this is evil that is so focused, their will is such focused evil, so intentional and so deliberate, with so much deliberation and careful thought. some people deliberate so intentionally on doing good, and contemplate how to help people. Nope. Did it for a year as a teen when trying to escape a highly fucked up situation. No ID. Not of age. Thousands of miles (thank god) from "home" I never appreciated a house as much as I did after that. Once I got on my feet, the first thing I did was crank up the AC and get HBO and Showtime. It taught me a lot. I was able to travel later in life, while working independently and running a business, and avoid many of the pitfalls (such as becoming homeless again). I don't know what lies they told you, but I can promise they were lies. There's a fine line between training, trauma, and torture. |
