Duper's Delight is the name given to that annoying little smirk thing that charlatans, grifters, con artists, sociopaths and "gang stalkers" tend to give.

I have noticed it about a year now with my wife and its getting bad. She literally has carpal tunnel in her thumb ( it it is such a thing) from mindlessly scrolling facebook and local news.

When she does lay the phone down she mindlessly scrolls Netflix listing for hours to never even click on a movie.

Her out of town family seldom visit but the time once spent with them talking, all are sitting on the couch doing the same thing, each with a the face in a phone.

I walk into the room and the wife never looks up and if I try and say something I find myself say... Hello, hello, No drugs or alcohol just mind control...

End times, we are in...

Yes, I've definitely noticed this for a while now. So many people seem to be in a perpetual stupor. I attribute it partially to vaccines/meds/fluoride. It's pretty disturbing.

People are also hopelessly addicted to their phones, and I wonder if the whole smartphone culture is really just one big experiment to fracture people's attention spans. (Not to mention the possible effects of 4G/5G/EMF exposure.)

These tech-zombies wander about in lala land, attached to their devices, totally oblivious to the world around them. I was at a restaurant today and took note of all the people sitting at tables and ignoring those they were with. Everyone had their nose in a phone. It was sad.

I was on my break at work the other day and was just sitting there in a chair thinking like a normal human being. I swear, one of the girls I work with who is probably 19 or 20 asked me "why aren't you on your phone?" It seems like a bizarre thing now to just sit there and stare at nothing in particular and collect your thoughts. Even the act of resting your eyes is seen as strange and disturbing behavior nowadays. I look around and literally every single person is on their phone except for maybe a handful of people who are elderly. Sometimes I like to sit there and read a book and even that seems a bit surreal for many people under a certain age.

We are truly in the end times. It isn't even a matter of "how can we stop the masses from electronics addiction?" it is more like "how can we function in a society where electronics addiction is the norm and just silently resting in your thoughts is considered deviant behavior?"

It's exactly like the star trek TNG episode called "The Game".

Although I've put a political spin on the zombieism of today's society, there are admittedly a lot of purely non-political, 100% technological changes that are making a bad situation even worse.

However, in the past I would have theorized that with the ease and modern-day conveniences we have in looking up information in 2019 - no trips to the library necessary - that the ignorance and foolishness so common today (unless it's purposeful?) would not be possible.

So true, G3! A friend of mine was rear-ended while sitting at a stoplight a couple days ago by a guy who was busy texting and wasn't cognizant enough to even attempt to hit the brakes! It's frightening that these zombies have access to heavy machinery.

then I rationalize and say, i think it’s just me, that somewhere, some place , some pockets of society that i don’t see and i’m not invited too, aren’t like this. and i look and look and can’t find it. ..

It's the Zombie Apocalypse, just not we were all expecting. No flesh eating, living dead like we see in the movies (though living dead is debatable), but zombies nonetheless.
