When i do get out its weirdly not my world i grew up in,so i tend to just remember the good days and think as it used to be...

I tend to watch this show where they race to other countries,and the country's they go to all seem normal,happy and still living a normal life...

i watch people on youtube that travel,and seems like all the people are living happily,as we once did...poor as shit..but happy ....

Even going to church feels weird now. I don't feel a supernatural uplift of the Holy Spirit many times, just a trance induction with the same chords, melodies, repeated phrases, lights, etc. over and over again. Lulled into a trance is not the same as having a powerful experience of the indwelling Lord.

The internet, cell phones tablets and main stream news have taken over people's minds.

It's primarily drugs. Most of the flotsam and jetsam on the West Coast is drug related. Even long term pot use is debilitating.

I recently retired. At my job, I carried my iPhone, a company iPhone, iPad & laptop all connected to the internet. I would have to respond to messages constantly in the field while driving around. When I retired, I took a break from these mobile devices.

My car broke down today and I passed 2 people roaming the highway. One gets dropped off right in front of me to roam the highway and the other was a chick who gave me a weird look as I walked past her. Felt like the Matrix for sure. Strange place we live, whatever it is!
