I disagree. Women cheat more from psychology, whereas men cheat more due to hormones/physiology. Men are wired genetically to spread their genes around. Women have a psychological need to be wanted. Often they're most interested in the men who already have someone (e.g. are married) because they are trying to see if they can win the man away from someone else and thus best a female competitor. This study is grossly oversimplifying the problem.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75859050

Yes, this is a complex issue. And you're right, women are extremely competitive, and disregard loyalty or morals in those situations. That's why it's much more often to see a woman stealing a man from some female close to her than man doing the same.

When it comes to man being unfaithful, I don't think it's biological. Men would be going around making side chicks pregnant all the time if that was the case. That's the last thing one would want when he cheats.

That's why I believe men mostly cheat out of their need to feel like men again. It's psychological. As I've mentioned earlier, there's no bigger taboo in men's world than being rejected by your own wife. It's extremely emasculating. In order to feel like a man again, you go bang some woman who won't reject you. But the reason a wife rejects her husband remains a secret to majority, and that's where this vicious circle starts. That's what I've noticed from my surroundings and the stories of married couples I know.

Yes, I think that there's a lot of that for sure. They need to be affirmed by their wives, and a large part of that affirmation is to feel like they are wanted physically.

*LTR with non-Chads

rolleyes
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77370778

No man. This is a general thing that is bigger than that. Women are designed to look for the next best thing constantly. The only way they might find Chad more stimulating is if they have to constantly fight for his attention or he's actively cheating on them.

Women can't be happy with anything they have. Once they have a man and they know he's theirs their vaginas go dead. Probably it would be slower with a Chad but I believe from this research it would happen universally.

Women are designed to whore around. People pretend women want monogamy but they really don't. It's just another lie that's not backed by the evidence. As soon as they have it their sex drive disappears.

It may sound messed up, but I think all females subconsciously love having a man that is desired by other women. It confirms to them that they've chosen the right man to impregnate them. A man probably doesn't even need to cheat, I believe that if a woman knows her man can easily attract other chicks, she'll be attracted more to him.

My wife has completely let herself go and just doesnt give a shot anymore.

For me it's not a matter of not getting... she is either too tired all the time or I'm just not interested in effing.

This is coming from a slim, muscular, tall well-hung alpha with money, confidence and grace and humility (not being a dick just honest)

Never hit her, always try to help with kids and house.. try to love Jesus and treat her right.

Idk what to do anymore beyond just keep loving here... but it's really sad and frustrating some times.

She's got some real emotional issues... all I can do is hope she'll straighten out someday, and the good Lord keeps me from going crazy.

I think Vice is a bunch of depraved mf's but on this they might be partially right... just going off 15 years exp.

How many times have you been lied to by polite society? Add one more to the pile. Turns out women find monogamy and stable relationships an automatic turnoff sexually, and this is a proven scientific fact.

This is the source of all the dead beadrooms. Women are never happier than when they are being pumped and dumped by Chads. The idea of living with a man for years at a time kills their sex drive completely.

Women get bored in bed faster than men
[link to www.vice.com (secure)]

A growing body of research suggests that keeping sex exciting is an issue for women, especially in a years-long relationship. Contrary to what the distracted boyfriend meme might have you believe, women grow disinterested in sex with a long-term sexual partner faster than men, and report lower sexual satisfaction.

Women have less interest in sex when they have been in together for more than a year, and women who live with their partner tend to feel less sexual desire than women who don't. Another study published in 2012tells us that the longer a relationship lasts, the more women's sexual desire decreases, which is not the case for men. And finally, the results of a 2006 German study show that while 60 percent of women want to have "frequent" sex at the beginning of a relationship, in the four years that follow this figure drops to less than 50 percent, and after 20 years of relationship, it falls to about 20 percent. The libido of men, on the other hand, generally remains stable throughout the duration of a relationship.

"Women have a tendency to get bored faster than men in a monogamous relationship," Renaud said. "They want a form of sexual variety, while men are often content with very little. It is often women who will lose their desire first, and sometimes even quickly enough."

In other words, betabuxxing will empty your wallet but not your balls. Even after you give her a house and support her you will still be jerking off alone and she will only find you more repulsive with time.

IME, it's largely a matter of priorities, psychological block, and childhood conditioning. I believe that most people throw away their marriage, or it gets boring because it's not a top priority. That part is fixable.

I've had my fun, and I've paid the price.
I made a thread, once, that showed the statistical probabilities of divorce vs number of sexual partners. for every new partner the divorce rate jumps, until about 10 or 12 partners and then there's not so much of a conclusion.

what kind of society do we want. I posted a comment on a thread about our shifting from a paternalistic society to an Africanized Maternalistic society. Do we want to make conscious decisions, or just let it happen?

Feminism and socialism supports divorced women and takes away any incentive that they might have to stay with the (supposed) fathers of their children. Is that what we want?

I know you're joking, kind of.
I'm saying that delaying marriage to age 25 or 27 is a guarantee of high divorce rates. I'm a product of an earlier age, so I can't make firm conclusions about the ages that today's kids are losing their virginity. In my day, if they could make it to 16 or 17 they could get married, but "society" said they should wait until after college to get married and the net result is most women burn their v card back in HS and who knows how many before 27. Yes, Some men too, but a guy has a lot harder time racking up the same numbers as a girl. There isn't much of a competition to it. A girl can have as many, as often as she wants. But it's not likely to result in lifetime happiness.
I don't have the time or the crayons to explain this to you.

I get what you’re saying, but in these days with heavy social media everywhere, that has made the world a whole lot smaller. And “city life” seems to have infiltrated even the most rural of places, meaning that at some point, even the virginest of virgin girls will begin to feel fomo (fear of missing out) and would love to know what the other side is like, even desire it. I see this happening a lot too. Lot of older women in 25+yr marriages are divorcing and taking a chance at this deluded fairytale life they believe they’ll have kicking old hubby to the curb.

This can be true. Im going through the same thing now. One moment she would be like a wild animal and the next she is disgusted at the thought of having sex. Its like tossing boiling water into -30°F air. Thats how rapidly she changes her mood.

She was never really a “wild animal” the way she was with Chad. I’m just being honest, not trying to be an asshole.

Here’s a good comic below that sort of explains it:

When you are dating, there is excitement and it carries a lot of weight with BOTH males and females. It is addictive.

The excitement boils down at least a bit with time, especially by the 3rd year. Kids will boil it down further because of fatigue.

Why do you always forget that nature has figured out a system

it's not repairable;

we all have to work with what we have and don't have

that's a major point of the traditional marriage vows
 Quoting: Red John

I know some will throw rocks, but marriages between two virgins are the strongest marriages and the least likely to end in divorce. It's a real thrill to sleep with someone new, but that's just a passing thrill and a Divorce hurts forever.

thatstrue

if you burn your V-Card in a worthless, meaningless, shallow, hollow, emotionless, useless,
act of selfish indulgence for the purpose of getting off
you destroy the wiring for, and the ability to imprint
and be imprinted to your future spouse

and this was the first agenda behind the feminazi / commie "sexual perverse revolution"

> destroy the ability to be loyal by destroying the ability to imprint
and the traditional stable 2 parent family unit is destroyed with it

 Quoting: Pilgrim001

the "stats" are inconclusive and skewed because no one wants to be honest about it
(I don't think I'd be comfortable telling random strangers asking for that info, I don't think I'd even want to be talking to my doctor about it)

anyone who says more than a few is gonna be unsure or lying about the actual number

some who did burn it improperly still chose monogamy after the fact and choose to remain faithful even though it's not as fulfilling as it could have been if they had waited
because comparisonitis and all that shit
especially if it's one sided
where sloot gets virgin man and then ridicules him for "not knowing what to do" ya some of it is natural but comparison of "skills" is an intimacy killer
or
where manwhore gets virgin wife and complains that she doesn't like it or doesn't want to because he hurt her the first time
and she's afraid it's gonna hurt again

...

Re: Study: Women rapidly lose interest in sex once in a LTR or living with a man
I found another interesting study which correlates to this thread. Check it out GLP:

[link to www.medicaldaily.com (secure)]

A new study, published in the journal Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, finds that while men may be just as likely as women to be openly affectionate, researchers also identified some surprising differences between men and women in the way they express their love.

While the more husbands loved their wives, they more likely they were to initiate sex, wives were actually less likely to make the first move the more they loved their husbands.

The findings suggest that if a wife is not feeling loved by her husband, she may be more accommodating to her husband's moods and needs in an attempt to kick-start the marriage, rather than expressing interest or engaging in more joint activities.

"Multilevel analyses revealed that, counter to theoretical expectations, both genders were equally likely to show love through affection. But whereas wives expressed love by enacting fewer negative or antagonistic behaviors, husbands showed love by initiating sex, sharing leisure activities, and doing household work together with their wives," the study authors wrote.

Holy Shit on multiple levels. To summarize:

•The more men loved their wives, the more they wanted to have sex with their wives.
•The more women loved their husbands, the less they wanted to have sex with their husbands.
•Men showed affection by initiating sex, sharing leisure activities, and doing housework with their wife.
Women showed affection by enacting fewer negative or antagonistic behaviors (ie. nagging less and being less annoying).
