Growing up, my best friends father was a cop who sexually assaulted & raped many women. He was just shuffled from one department to the next in order to cover up his crimes. Years later we found out that he also sexually abused both my best friend & her little brother throughout their entire lives. He has never paid for his crimes.

This is why people have a problem with LEOs and LEOs are reviled, why they are setup for ambush ect... Public employees can't be trusted. Why? Self interest, there is no serve the public good entrained within our population anymore. It is not taught anymore.

It is the corrupted, the psychopathic criminal dirty LEOs that undermine the public trust and devotional unconditional loyalty to these kind of officers only hurts the good LEOs. This is why civilian oversight committees are needed because LEOs and the unions can't be trusted to police themselves. LEOs can't even be trusted to enforce law because that don't understand the first thing about constitutional law or conflicts with statute law and local ordinances.

I had a girlfriend who's brother was extremely bi-polar and constantly tried to kill himself but really sucked at it.

So one time he locks himself in a hotel room.

We tell the hotel please let us in so we can get him out.

Hotel says no we gotta call police.

Police show up and beat the crap out of him in front of his sister.

Yelling "You wanna kill yourself? How about we kill you?"

Well he ended up dying from the injuries the cops gave him.

First of all that area of Jersey all the cops are tated up wanna be mob thugs. They only beat victims cause they don't ever want to jepardise their fat pensions. Their mob unions get them $100K salaries to boot.

Some people go into government work because they really do want to help. Others do it because they like power. Others do it because they have nothing better to do.
