So, people have had 30 years to learn that complaining about it doesn't make it go away.
They are probably tired by now.
Those with power make the decisions. If you have power and don't fall in line, then either you will, or you will cease to have power.
People can take care of their individual families.
Not even God tried to reform Sodom & Gomorrah.
You accept 250.000 children being sexualized.
But don't come complaining about the next generations being fucked up then.
It is easy for you to say that, but it's not true.
The Apostle Peter says Lot (a righteous man who lived in Sodom)
"was tormenting his righteous soul over their sensual deeds that he saw and heard". (2 Peter 2:7-8)
But if you read the story in Genesis, it
does not look/sound as if he is doing that. He acts basically normal. He is not going around on "marches" or crying out to the people like Jeremiah the prophet. The city is NOT Israel, it is a wicked city and Lot knows that he cannot change it. So what does he do? He lives in torment, distraught by it.
Some of us have "buried" that more than others, and i'm sure many "Christians" maybe are not bothered at all - maybe you are right.
But it is not right for you to judge everyone, if you haven't lived here yourself and understood.
We can protect our own families, as Lot tried to do.
And, we wait for God's judgment.
Marches are not going to help.. yes a lot of people "march" "against" homosexuality, to make themselves feel better.. what does that do? Nothing at all. It's stupid.
I think a lot people feel that Abortion is different because there is STILL hope on an individual basis. Mothers and fathers can still be reached-out to.
Why is there a difference, it's called choosing your battles, and not wasting energy on things that it is
