What next, compulsory euthanasia for over 65s? Same thing happened to my grandmother last week in the US. She is 84 and has dementia. The neurologist says she has about 3 years left. She fell down broke her hip. She had surgery but the insurance (Aetna) wouldn't pay for acute rehabilitation and stuck her in post acute rehabilitation. This is for service she PAID FOR. If someone is a paying customer, they need to provide the same level of service to anyone who pays the same amount, not base something on someone's age or other factor.
