What did you think hospice was for?

It's a place for people to die in a controlled setting. Where they can snatch their organs before rigor mortis sets in.

After they rob you, of course.

This goes on everywhere not just hospice but in hospitals too
The respect for persons is non existent today.

It's usually done by morphine overdose. Granny just slips away, and dies a "natural" death.

Other methods include dehydration.

By that time they gave them Cancer anyway.
Baby-boomers are being culled (after they get your Medicare).
Obamacare was a nazi extermination program.

Time to wade in on this one....

Lets be crystal clear here... the VAST majority of hospices are....you guessed it for the terminally ill whether sooner or later.

Your accusation of this being a stealth euthanasia facility is in my book quite disgraceful.. By making an ill informed blanket statement is quite incorrect and hurtful to the many people paid and in voluntary positions at these establishments.

Im thinking that this web site/radio station has some sort of agenda.....It seems to just ask for Bad stories and nothing good..... I doubt the broadcast will be balanced... Quite the contrary...

Who was it that valued life?

And who was it that encouraged death?

I know some boomers who allowed this, by getting other grandchildren to agree.

Hospice did well by my grandmother. I was there to see it all. No euthanasia. They helped us keep her in her home, as was her wish.

If they killed him as you say, then you have proof? Or at the very least get a lawyer to press charges. I wonder though, who called hospice to attend to your step-father? And why? My guess was that he was dying and nothing could be done.

Tell your story. Just saying they killed him is meaningless.

Hospice was very helpful to me when my parents were dying.
They were angels who gave me support and bathed them and made the whole process peaceful.

People should not have to struggle in their final days. Or be in excrutiating pain.

in a controlled situation, the IV drips are running,propofol,whatever,slowing down the respiratory rate till they're dead.
it's all explained away as pain control,with depressed respiration as the side effect.
sure they're terminally ill and eventually they'll get around to simply giving it ""IV push "".

This happens easily with respiratory illness.
They use a bi-pap machine to force too much air into the lungs. This causes CO2 retention. So they intubate, which leads to death.

My mother and grandmother were killed this way.

My mother was starved to death and denied water by the staff.

She entered the hospice alert and awake within a week she was unresponsive by the end of a couple of months she was dead from starvation and dehydration.

My grandmother was slipped enough pain killers to take down an elephant to prevent her from trying to walk to the toilet on her own.

My mother’s biggest fear was that they would do to her what they did to my grandmother, in fact they did worse.

I see the day coming where people are killed outright to save money by hospices, AND THE IDEA IS SOLD TO THE FAMILY AS NECESSARY....

Ok question.... Whats your understanding of Propofol and why its administered... Oh and its never given solely but as a mix with other EOL medications...

Yup. My dad had cancer and was in severe pain and not getting better. The hospital let him overdose on morphing. This was over 30 years ago and it was a blessing. Better to drift off then to be screaming in pain.

Of course I can only state the facts based on the UK`s practices... Even in the last few years there have been major changes to how EOL (end of life) care is administered... Yes its still a learning curve with many obstacles still to clear..

What you have stated "starvation and dehydration." has been a cause for concern for many years... but fortunatley this is now not the case as older mind sets have changed....

I worked with a woman whose father was about to die of dehydration. She and her father were both refugees from the former Soviet Union. Her father wanted a particular doctor who spoke his native language. He went into the hospital with something minor, and before too long the Dr was saying to prepare for his death. When she complained the Dr suggested she see a psychologist because she was in denial. Instead by some miracle she was able to transfer him to a different hospital. They told her he was severely dehydrated and he was fine after an saline IV drip for a few days. This happened in the 1990. I think it is even more common now.
