There is no distinct word to mean both man and woman.

or Joseph being a man, put his seed in mary. but yet JOSEPH NEVER HAD SEX WITH MARY. SO HOW THEN CAN HE BE THE SON OF MAN, IF HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

but then hey the new testiment is only a direct translation from the old. reasons for the lack of geneology is how can you find translations and names from that you have no ties too.

but everything the new speaks of, its also spoken in the old. just made and changed to the greek way. but i find the day of the LORD many times in the old testament.
