Curvy Tracheid (Wood Cell) Remains Found on Mars

NASA's Mars rover Curiosity acquired the above image on June 26, 2019, Sol 2448, at Teal Ridge in the clay-bearing unit in Gale Crater, Mars.
Red arrows and red rectangles mark remains of Martian tracheids. Some of the tracheid remains are curvy. Note bordered pits on the tracheid remains.
